This symposium will feature presentations and exhibits from institutional and industry experts. Keynote speakers will include Stanford’s Dr. Sarah Heilshorn and University of California, San Diego’s Dr. Alysson Muotri.

Toward a Minnesota Organoid Center

Held on the University of Minnesota, Cancer and Cardiovascular Research Building and hosted in partnership with the Mayo Clinic, the event united leading researchers to advance organoid manufacturing and preclinical modeling capabilities.

Human Model Systems as Tools for Discovery and Translation Retreat

Co-organized by Beau Webber from the SCI and Brooke Druliner from the Mayo Clinic. Presentations were made by SCI faculty Angela Panoskaltsis-Mortari and Susan Keirstead, as well as multiple researchers from the Mayo Clinic.  A keynote address entitled "Transformative Potential of Organoids" was delivered by organoid pioneer and expert Hans Clevers, Head of Pharma Research and Early Development at Roche.
